Dementia Services: Outreach Service
The Outreach Coordinators aim to improve awareness and understanding of Dementia by providing training in the community, in Nursing and Residential Homes and other agencies. They provide talks to various groups and schools, hold Dementia awareness events, and work closely with GPs and other agencies to provide information on all services available.
The Outreach Service aims to reduce fears and misunderstanding of people with dementia and encourages those concerned about memory problems and the isolated to seek help.
