Dementia Services: Peer Support Clubs

The Peer Support Clubs are for people over the age of 65 in the early to moderate stages of dementia. They provide a wide range of stimulating and meaningful activities which enable club members to enjoy themselves in a warm and friendly environment. The Clubs aim to help maintain members' physical and social skills.

The service provides four clubs, which are situated in Hornchurch, South Hornchurch and Harold Hill.

Carers and family members have the opportunity to have some valuable respite time from their caring role.

The Clubs aim to be sensitive to the needs of club members and treat everyone with respect, dignity and as an individual. The Clubs operate from 9am-3pm and there is a fee. Transport is available if required.
