Our Services: Stroke Support
When a person has suffered a stroke they are often in hospital for quite a few weeks or even months. When they come home they have to adapt to a new way of life, not only practically but socially. We have a member of staff who will visit the stroke survivor for an informal chat to ascertain what they want to do now they are home and to give them information on what's available to them in the Borough. The support is also available for their carers as well as themselves.
Also available is a monthly stroke support group that runs from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, on the last Tuesday of every month, at the Queen's Theatre, Hornchurch. Join us in the foyer for a coffee and a chat.
