We offer a range of practical services to enable older people to remain independent, in their own homes. These include:
Fire Risk Assessment & Smoke Alarms Age Concern Havering are working in partnership with the London Fire Brigade to offer fire risk assessments, supply and fit smoke alarms all free of charge. To make an appointment please call 01708 479697.
Odd Jobs Do you struggle with small odd jobs around the house? Don’t despair as we have a group of volunteers who can help with small jobs such as fitting new light bulbs, putting up shelves or curtains. If you need a hand then please call 01708 479647 Wednesdays 10.30am to 2pm.
Trade Directory If you are looking for a tradesman or women then please give us a call and we can send you a copy of our Trade Directory which holds over 100 traders from carpenters to plumbers, gardeners to hairdressers. Each one has public liability insurance and has undertaken reference questionnaires. To request a Trade Directory please call 01708 479697.
